The difference

One builder.
From start to finish.

One company. One schedule. One name answering for all of it.

CEW carries the entire build: planning, permitting, site work, framing, every sub-trade, finishing and final walkthrough. One contract, one schedule, one supervisor on site, and updates that come to you on a set day.

You make the decisions that shape the house — layout, materials, finishes, budget — alongside the builder who quotes the work, runs the site and signs it off at handover. Thirty years of doing it that way is why owners here recommend us to the next one.

01

Vision

What you want, what the site allows, what it will realistically cost.

02

Planning

Drawings, engineering and approvals lined up before anyone breaks ground.

03

Design

Layout, materials and finishes resolved on paper, where changes are cheap.

04

Pre-construction

Budget locked, sub-trades booked, schedule issued.

05

Construction

One supervisor on site. Regular updates you don’t have to chase.

06

Finishing

The stage where careless builders get found out.

07

Walkthrough

We go through the house together, list by list, before you take the keys.

Thirty years

Three decades teaches you things a blueprint can’t.

Experience isn’t a number on a homepage. It shows up in the decisions made months before anyone sees a finished room — and in the repairs you never end up paying for.

01Which sub-trades answer the phone in January.
02Where frost, clay and wind will test a house here.
03What goes wrong on a build, and how early it shows itself.
04Where spending more matters, and where it doesn’t.
05How to keep a schedule honest when weather moves.
06That the small details are the ones people live with.

What CEW handles

You make the decisions.
We make them happen.

One contract covers the construction work below. Nothing gets handed back to you halfway through, and you never chase a sub-trade yourself.

Any of it can be booked on its own. A full house, or one basement.

Owner operated

Experience you can talk to.

CEW is owner-operated. The person who quotes your home is involved in building it — so there is no gap between what you were promised in the meeting and what gets framed on site. That’s the whole structure of the company, and it’s why the details get caught.

Owner bio to follow — background, years in the trade, and the standards that guide the build.

Meet CEW

Licensed, insured, accountable

How to check a builder
before you sign.

Saskatchewan does not license general contractors province-wide, so “licensed” means different things to different companies. These are the four documents worth asking any Prince Albert contractor for, in writing, before money changes hands.

Ask any builder you are considering for all four. Ask us, and they are in your inbox the same day.

Business licence

Liability insurance

Commercial general liability insurance. Coverage amount to follow. Confirm any contractor’s coverage with the insurer, not the certificate.

Let’s talk about
your home.

Whether you’re building new in Prince Albert, renovating, or pricing a single sub-trade, a conversation costs nothing and usually clears up more than a week of research.

Tell us the lot, the house or the room. We’ll tell you what it takes, what it likely costs, and whether we’re the right company for it. No obligation, and a straight answer either way.
