About CEW

A builder, not a brand.

The story

[CEW TO CONFIRM — when CEW started, what the owner was doing before, and the first house he built on his own.]

Thirty years later the company is deliberately the same size it needs to be: large enough to act as general contractor on a full build, small enough that the owner still walks every site.

Building here

Prince Albert and northern Saskatchewan are not forgiving places to build. Frost depth, expansive clay, forty-degree seasonal swings, wind loads on open acreage sites. Details that are optional elsewhere are structural here.

Knowing which suppliers deliver in February, and which sub-trades show up when it’s -30, is not something you can hire in.

How we work

One point of responsibility

If something goes wrong, there is no argument about whose fault it is. It’s ours.

Long sub-trade relationships

The same sub-trades, build after build. They know our standard before they arrive.

Communication on schedule

Updates come to you. You should never have to ask how your house is going.

Built for here

Envelope, foundation and mechanical decisions made for Saskatchewan conditions.
